Our Migration Agent Services

Our professional team of immigration lawyers and registered migration agents provide a full range of specialised services for immigration Brisbane and Australia wide. These services include:

tickFamily and Partner Visas

We can provide clearly defined guidelines to ensure that you, your partner and your family’s visa applications are successful. We can assist with all types of visa categories including Partner, Parent, Family and Child visas, to ensure your family is cared for as you start your new life together in Australia.

tickSkilled Visas

These temporary and permanent visas are designed for highly skilled and qualified people who can fill occupation shortages. They allow you to live and work in Australia and provide Australian businesses with unique skill sets that can help them meet ongoing industry needs.

Queensland Migration Practice can assist you with Skilled Independent, Skilled Nominated and Skilled Regional (Provisional) visa applications.

tickEmployer Sponsored Visas

If you wish to undertake long-term employment in Australia, you will require an employer sponsored temporary or permanent visa. These are intended for foreign nationals working for an Australian business and include Temporary Work (Skilled) visas, Regional Sponsored Migration Scheme visas and Employer Nomination Scheme visas.

tickBusiness and Investment Visas

Owning a business or investing in Australia can provide highly skilled individuals with the opportunity to live and work in the country. With the Business Skills program, the Australian government aims to encourage entrepreneurialism and innovation and provide a clear pathway to permanent residence.

There are two possible pathways for business skills entry into Australia – the direct entry Business Talent (Migrant) visa and the Business Innovation and Investment (Provisional) visa – and QMP is able to assist you with both.

tickWork and Holiday Visas

These temporary visas allow you to work and holiday in Australia for up to a year. Your experienced immigration lawyer from Queensland Migration Practice will guide you through the application process, which will vary according to your country of passport, to a successful outcome.

The two different types of visas include a Working Holiday visa and a Work and Holiday visa.

tickStudent Visas

As a leading and top-ranking country for educational institutions, Australia offers a number of study and post-qualification visas for foreign students wishing to study in Australia. We can help you apply for any of the eight visa subclasses of the Student Visa Program, and ensure you meet all the eligibility requirements.

tickReviews

If you receive an unfavourable decision, we can represent you in your appeal and guide you through the process of requesting a review or Ministerial Intervention. There are a number of options available to you in these circumstances, and we are directly beside you throughout the entire process delivering support, advice and professional representation.

Our experienced immigration lawyers have the knowledge and legal reasoning to present your case in the most favourable way possible, to ensure an optimal chance of success.

tickAustralian Citizenship

Becoming an Australian citizen is an important and valuable step in your migration journey, giving you the right to vote, apply for an Australian passport, apply for work in the Australian Public Service or Australian Defence Force, seek election to parliament, and more.

We are available to assist you with your application for citizenship, as well as assess your eligibility and guide you through the requirements.

Start your free visa assessment now, and a QMP registered migration agent will contact you shortly for a full assessment and to discuss your options to move forward.

If you’d like more information about any of these Australian visas, citizenship or your review rights, please contact us on (07) 3184 9152. You can also see our Frequently Asked Questions for more details and key terminology.

Consultations

We understand that the migration process is an expensive and important investment. For this reason, we must conduct a full assessment to determine whether your matter has prospects.

We charge a consultation fee of $330 (inclusive of GST). This ensures that you are serious about migrating and are prepared to engage the services of a professional and experienced migration lawyer. Your consultation fee will be credited towards the costs of any future services. For this reason, if you choose to engage our firm to handle your matter, your consultation will effectively be free.

We want you to leave your consultation with a thorough understanding of the options available to you, how we can assist and how much it will cost.

Your first consultation with a professional immigration lawyer or migration agent can take up to one hour, and provides you with the opportunity to discuss your situation with us in detail. If your case can’t be resolved in one meeting, you will be given a full overview of the options that may be available to you.

During the initial consultation, you can expect the following:

  • Clear advice about the options available to you
  • An expectation of how long it will take for your matter to be resolved
  • Information about all the costs involved

How Much is it Going to Cost Me?

At QMP, we believe in transparent costs so that you will know from the beginning all expected costs in your matter and can plan accordingly.

Our professional costs to assist you will depend on the complexity of your situation, but we always strive to provide the most cost effective and flexible pricing structures. Where appropriate, we are happy to work on a “No Win, No Fee” basis.

Our professional costs are fixed and payable in instalments. Finance is available if you are experiencing financial hardship.

We are committed to helping you achieve your goals and turn your migration plans into a reality, and are available to discuss your specific circumstances and arrange a suitable payment plan to make it possible for you.
